Re: IFMA Announces Distribution Awards: Call for Nominations
IFMA is proud to announce the introduction of a new series of annual awards for the foodservice distribution community. This series of awards will recognize the leadership role and overall excellence that the recipients have demonstrated within the industry. The following awards will be presented at the 2007 Presidents Conference on November 13, 2007. The awards are as follows:
The IFMA Excellence in Distribution Award (Nomination Form)
The recipient of this award will be a corporate or independent distribution organization that has demonstrated excellence in the following categories: Management and Leadership, Customer Relations, Supplier Relations and Industry/Community Contributions.
The IFMA Distributor Sales and Marketing Performance Award (Nomination Form)
The recipient of this award will be a single independent distributor or an individual operating company of a distributor with multiple locations. This organization will have demonstrated successful planning and execution of creative sales and marketing. The considerations for this award will include sales incentive programs, sales training, sales and marketing support, special events and value-added services.
The IFMA Distinguished Industry Achievement Award (Awarded by Jury)
The recipient of this award will be an individual who has made a significant mark on the foodservice distribution community. This person will have brought about positive change and has been a pioneer in the areas of management, marketing, and operations.
IFMA is now calling for nominations for these awards. Please find the attached nomination forms for use in the submission of those distribution organizations that you believe should be recognized by the manufacturer community for their outstanding business practices and achievements.
All nominations should be returned to IFMA by September 7, 2007.
