Nearly 2,000 professionals have taken Foodservice Fundamentals in the past eight years – and we’ve been offering the course a lot longer than that!

The full-day training in downtown Chicago will get you up to speed on this complex industry so you can get back to your day job.

What to Expect When You Take the Course

This in-depth course is designed for anyone new or needing a refresher on how food moves across the U.S. food away from home supply chain and how the overall marketplace is structured. You’ll learn how the industry works, hear perspectives directly from operators, and participate in group discussions. A personal certificate of completion is awarded at the end of the course.

The course curriculum includes:

  • A deep dive into foodservice definitions and structure
  • Basics of the foodservice value chain
  • A focus on restaurant segments
  • The role of retail foodservice and on-site categories

Course Fee

Members: $895 per person
Non Members: $1,195 per person
*Fee includes all meeting materials and programmed meal functions.
