Help serve the food-away-from-home industry
To be considered for a seat on the IFMA board, candidates should have an interest in contributing to the future of the food-away-from-home business. Board members are asked to take on the role of “servant leader” to advance the mission of IFMA to our entire industry.
Candidate requirements include:
- Being an IFMA manufacturer member in good standing and holding an active senior executive foodservice position with clear corporate decision-making responsibilities.
- Having a history of executive leadership in the food industry, with special consideration given to active engagement with IFMA.
- Being available to serve for three years; service to begin in January 2025 and may be extended through committee and executive team appointments.
- Agreeing to attend three in-person board meetings annually, engage in committee assignments, and provide occasional program and content development assistance.
- Having a record of demonstrated servant leadership attributes and possessing executive leadership authority to meet our principles of shared giving through IFMA partnership, sponsorship, and/or event support.
